What is Neighbourhood Craft?

Neighbourhood Craft is a free single-day outdoor market that brings together artists and creative people in the heart of Downtown Squamish.

When is Neighbourhood Craft?

Neighbourhood Craft is twice annually in Spring and Fall on Cleveland Avenue in Downtown Squamish. We also partner with Squamish Arts to host a summer market during the Squamish Arts Festival. The next market is Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where is Neighbourhood Craft held?

Neighbourhood Craft is held in the public lot on 38174 Cleveland Avenue in Downtown Squamish.

Are tickets required?

No. Neighbourhood Craft is free for the public to attend. Tickets are not required.

Who can we expect to see there?

Neighbourhood Craft brings together artists, makers and growers from Squamish and its neighbouring communities with items ranging from visual art, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, apparel, vintage, home goods, and more. Many of our vendors are emerging artists, artists who have lacked representation and artists who are new to the local craft market scene.

Can I take transit?

Yes! We encourage arriving by transit, bike or on foot in order to minimize vehicle traffic. The closest Southbound transit stop is located at Chieftain Centre in front of Shoppers Drug Mart. Northbound, the closest transit stop is located on Cleveland Avenue and Winnipeg Street.

Is the event accessible?

Yes! Neighbourhood Craft is an accessible event with accessible parking stalls nearby.

May I bring my pet?

Yes! We welcome leashed dogs.

Where can I park?

There are approximately 250 two-hour parking spots along Cleveland and Second Avenues, and between Pemberton Avenue and Victoria Street. Longer-term parking with no daily limit is available on side streets and at a parking lot located towards the end of Main Street.

Are there washroom facilities on site?

Yes! There is a portable washroom facility located at the northwest corner of the market.

How do vendors accept payment?

Many vendors are equipped to take multiple forms of payment including cash, credit and e-transfer. A Scotiabank, Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal are located within a short walking distance.
